For years, Uganda had the highest AIDS statistics in Africa. That disease has left hundreds of thousands of orphans and an economy that has been stripped bare. A pastor’s graveyard, many works that have sprung up have quickly diminished resources and faith amid the most dedicated workers. |

One pastor we met five years ago, Pastor Benjamin Tabingwa, has pioneered a work that has been fruitful every year. God has given him favor as his church has worked among the poorest of Kampala. Today, he has taken into his house numerous people that were either orphaned by the AIDS epidemic, or saved and had no place to go. He focuses on all who need Christ in the city, whether Muslim, prostitutes, witches, thieves, or the ones who are walking in dead religions. Because of his steadfastness, many death threats have been laid before him, but the Lord has been faithful to deliver him and his family from them all. |

On average, the people Pastor Benjamin works alongside either have no income, or make on average $39.00 per month. God is calling us from all over the world to get involved in this harvest. In December the church is losing its lease and being forced to move on. God has provided them with land that they will close on at the end of the year. They still lack $10,000 to close. Then we will be taking a group there in January to help build the orphans new housing on the land, as well as the church building. |

In January 2007, we leave for another trip there. The church is being moved off the property, and we plan to help build the new one. They need help buying supplies and the final payment on the property. We are bringing the children toys. We are bringing in medical supplies. And we want to supply meals for the people who come everyday. |
